Some advices of Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Saheb
1. When you listen to the recitation of the Quran, then think; Allah is addressing me. When you read or listen to the Ahadith then think; RasulAllah sallallahu Alaihi WaSallam is addressing me.
2. Do not prepare people to attend Ijtema's for the sake of meeting me, or request me to make dua for them.Instead, prepare them to come for the sake of pleasing Allah, receiving rewards in the Aakhirah and become inviters to the Deen.
Comment: Probably this is the reason why, if Allah wills, the work of Tabligh & Dawah will remain permanent. This work is not based on personalities as other groups are.
The Path Of Effort
Allah has established the line of effort. Our effort should be directed to produce good actions. Man continuously produces actions from the different parts and organs of his body. If we want good actions to be produced, then an effort has to be made. Otherwise evil actions will automatically be produced.
When an effort is made on the ground, grains are produced,gold and silver and mined and oil is obtained. If no effort is made, then instead of beneficial things, automatically thorn producing trees and weeds will grow. Similarly is the case of good actions. We have to make much effort to produce those actions which pleases Allah and on which favourable decisions are made for us in the earth and sky.
